Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to love what you ordered from Apiary Gear. If something isn't right, here's how we'll make it right.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

For EU customers: Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order, during which you can cancel for any reason.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a refund, items must be:

  • Unused, unwashed, and in the same condition you received them
  • In their original packaging with all tags and labels attached

Items that show signs of wear, damage, or use not caused by us aren't eligible for a refund.

3. Items That Can't Be Returned

For hygiene, safety, and practical reasons, we can't accept returns on:

  • Hygiene-sealed products, once the seal is broken
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Digital downloads, once the download has started
  • Items marked "Final Sale," unless they arrive damaged or defective

4. How to Start a Return

  1. Email support@apiarygear.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Wait for our reply — we'll review your request and send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with the return address.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include your order number inside the box.

Please don't ship anything back before receiving an RMA, or we may not be able to process your refund.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Standard returns: Customers cover the cost of return shipping.

EU 14-day withdrawal: We'll refund the original standard shipping cost as required by law, but the return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: Ship the item back to us and send us a copy of the shipping receipt. We'll reimburse your return shipping cost along with your refund.

6. Refunds

Once we receive your return, we'll inspect it and email you the outcome within 2–3 business days.

If approved, your refund goes back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds usually appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.

7. Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges — it's faster for everyone if you return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the one you want.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, email us at support@apiarygear.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We'll sort it out right away.

9. Warranties

Some of our products come with a separate manufacturer or product-specific warranty. When that's the case, the warranty details will be listed on the product page and take precedence over the general return window for warranty-related claims.
