I bought this suit for my daughter. She loves it. We both have 2 hives each and are enjoying learning about bee keeping.

I ordered the suit and it fits well, but I had to guess a bit with the sizing. The fit is comfortable, but an improved size chart would help customers make a better decision.

The suit is really comfortable and gives me great protection from the bees. The only thing I would change is adding more ventilation on the legs. Otherwise, I’m happy with it!

Fantastic! I didn’t know what I was missing until now. It’s much cooler than my old suits but better protection.

I have used two other bee suits, this one is by far the most breathable and cool. This combined with the three layer protection at the head piece connection makes it almost impossible to get through.

Great Bee suit and exactly like described. Very cool and you can actually feel the air coming through it. Would buy again.

Haven’t had the opportunity to use the suit yet but looking forward to putting it to use as soon as the bees arrive!

After months of regular use, hard inspections, hive splits, and honey extractions my previous suit still holds up without any tears or fraying seams. I would recommend. Now i bought second for my wife. She is a beginner but i will train him.

I haven’t used my suit yet as I am a new beekeeper and am awaiting my 1st order of bees in April. I am optimistic about the ventilation in this suit as I live in south Texas and it gets quite hot. I took 1 star off because it seems smaller than expected. I am 5’5” 125lbs and ordered the small as it went up to 139lbs. If I gain more than a couple of lbs, this could become uncomfortable. I wish I had ordered size Medium but returning it back to Australia from the US for an Exchange would be very expensive and I don’t expect to gain weight.

Hands down, the best suit for those summer days. The slightest breeze moved through the mesh easily, supplying a refreshing respite. I even experienced the cooling effect when I was simply walking!! Never buying anything else again.

These run large. I bought the same size I have in other suits and this thing swamped me. I was around some very aggressive bees while taking off the honey super and the suit did well, no stings except for through the gloves.Pros* Not as hot as other suits due to being a mess rather than a solid canvas* Comes with a separate hat/hood to be worn by itself and not with the suit* cooler than most other suits* protected well from aggressive bees* very good Velcro over the zipper ends to cover all holes around the neck* hood was comfy and I could see wellCons*Velcro straps at the bottom of the pant legs is more difficult to get a tight seal vs an elastic band. This leaves the ancles a little more vulnerable than other suits*The suit runs large and the arms were beyond my fingertips and legs went past my toes so I had to bunch them up. This isn't that bad as a bunched suit is less like to have bee stings than a suit that is tighter to the skin or surface.*Gloves were thinner than others I've used and I did get a prick through the glove and 4-5 stingers left in the glovesI'm going to return this for a smaller size. I probably would not buy this again, but I'll see if I change my mind once I get a better size.

Just order it yesterday and it came in today. I gotta say the quality is better than I thought it would be. Im 6'1 225lb and I order a 2x and it fits perfectly. I went out and used it on a hive without smoke and in the middle of the fl heat, when they would be mad and had a lot trying to sting and not one got through. Oh and it's very cool and breezey

True to size. I'm 5'4" 180 lbs. Ordered large. Fits well. Ventilated fabric is wonderful. Makes harvesting on hot days much cooler. Suit seems well made though I wish it had more pockets. Dual veils are nice and easy to change out. Velcro on wrist and ankles makes for a secure fit without restricting range if motion. Gloves are a nice bonus if you like that style. Good buy for the money.

Works well, let's lots of air in, comfortable, never used a fencing veil before and I like it better than my round veil. All closers work wellWould recommend it.

I'm loving it. Slightest of breeze blows right through it and feels so much better than traditional suits in hot weather.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This probably says more about me than my bees, but I’ve been stung well over 100 x’s over the past three years alone (seriously!). I’ve always used a hooded bee jacket and gloves with regular jeans, but would still get the occasional sting here and there - a few instances of a couple dozen. This year I have a VERY defensive hive that swarms me anytime I begin to open the top. My last inspection, I was stung over 30 x’s on the torso as I leaned forward (didn’t have my jacket cinched tight enough…up they went! Afraid I will fall over due to anaphylactic shock one of these days, so I bought this suit. I couldn’t be happier! Yea, one sizing issue: I bought a large based on other reviews to size up. 5’ 8” 150#, rode up in the crotch a bit, if I was taller I’d probably have an issue, but the hood had much more room, seemed odd. Very roomy though, so if you’re wider, I don’t think you’d have an issue. Also glove fingers were a little snug, so if you have sausage fingers, this may become an issue…Pros - (1) loved the full body coverage. (2) double lined mesh everywhere to allow air flow but keep stingers out. (3) solid material is thick and padded knees. (4) extra velcro at the hood, wrists and knees…all bueno! All in all, very happy I upgraded! This is a solid option that worked for me. I inspected during 83 F with 65% humidity, did I sweat a little…yea…but when out in the open with a little breeze, it cut through the mesh and felt great!All of my bee buddies inspect without any coverage. Good for them, not me… I’ve learned my lesson - on any given day or year you may end up with a hive from hell like me and be glad you have this suit ready to go!

I wish they would go back to the old style hip pockets, no velcro with a notch.
