Full-Depth Plastic Foundation Sheets – Black or Yellow, 20 or 100 Pack

Durable Plastic Foundation for Full-Depth Hive Frames

These Full-Depth Plastic Foundation Sheets provide a rigid, reusable base for bees to build comb inside compatible wooden frames.

Available in Black or Yellow, the molded cell pattern provides a consistent starting surface for brood and honey-comb construction.

Full-Depth Size

Designed for compatible full-depth wooden frames with grooved top and bottom bars.

Dimensions: Approx. 425 × 210 mm

Always compare the dimensions with your existing frames before ordering.

Rigid & Reusable Construction

Unlike traditional wax-only foundation, the plastic core provides additional structural support and can be reused after old comb and wax are properly removed.

Black or Yellow

Choose between:

• Black – makes light-colored eggs, larvae, and wax easier to see during inspections
• Yellow – provides a traditional foundation appearance

Apply Beeswax Before Use

For improved colony acceptance, apply a thin, even layer of melted beeswax to the foundation before placing it in the hive if the supplied sheets are not already wax-coated.
